Public API and AI assistants for Premium accounts

Premium accounts can now connect outside tools straight to Forbidden Finance. This is live for every Premium account today.

You create a key in the app under Settings, then AI and API Connections. Keys start read only. You pick exactly which data the key can see, and letting it make changes is a separate switch with its own set of scopes. You can hide single fields, exclude whole accounts, and every request shows up in an access log. If a connected tool edits a transaction that came from your bank, the bank's original values are kept and you can revert any field.

To hook up an AI assistant like Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity, use our MCP connector. It is the @403fin/mcp package on npm. Your AI app runs it with npx and reads your key from the FF_API_KEY environment variable.
