Receipt scanning is here

Snap a receipt from the transaction form, or forward the emailed version to [email protected], and it stays attached to the transaction as your record. Available on Starter, Pro, and Premium: 75, 200, or 400 receipts per renewal month, counted per receipt, not per page.

Want the typing done for you? Turn on "Let AI read my receipts" in Settings > AI and receipts are read as they arrive: merchant, date, totals, line items, and the store's printed address land in the form for you to check before anything is saved. It also suggests a category. The switch is off until you turn it on, and while it's off nothing you add is read by AI. Receipts you added before switching it on can be read later with Scan with AI.

The details we sweated: line items become searchable alongside your transactions, sale prices are understood ("was 4.59 NOW 2.29" records what you actually paid), every extraction is checked against the receipt's own printed total, and the store's address can be saved as the transaction's location, labeled "From your receipt". Receipt images are encrypted with your account's own keys before they are stored.
